Without State funding NC LEAF will no longer be in a position to provide general loan repayment assistance.

 

The second year of  John R. Justice   federally funded program was dramatically reduced for 2011-12. All available funds have been disbursed to qualifying prosecutors and public defenders. Funding for the final year 2012-13 is extremely tentative with information not available until Congress has passed the annual budget in late Septemeber.

 

All CD Spangler  and Mecklenburg Bar Foundation funds have been disbursed in Mecklenburg County for 2011-2012.
